Xbox Live question please help?
I just got an Xbox live wireless adapter. Everything checked out except that a messege appeared saying “Xbox Live not found.” I studied it for a while and looked at the title which said “Modified Xbox error.” I remember back a couple months ago, I did have my Xbox modded with Evo X (software that allows you to change the dashboard, and play copied games). But I don’t plan on using copied games for xbox live, I just wanted to play Halo 2 online. Is there ANY way I can play xbox live with EvoX? If not, how do you remove EvoX?
Once you mod an Xbox 360, that system will NEVER be able to go online, that’s why you cant connect, you should have been told that by the company/person who modded you system. Also you can’t remove it (at least in the way that you are talking). The only way you will ever get online is to buy a new system; that is the cost of modding a game system, permanent system ban.
You have already attempted to connect to Xbox Live, so your system has been pegged as a modded system, therefor your system will never go on line again.
This type of mod is illegal, it falls under breaking copy protection which is covered under the DMCA (Digitloa Millenium Copyright Act).
