Some programs and IE7 can’t connect to Internet??!!!?
I’m in my holidays now(im not from the US), i’m living in a relatives’ house and im current using the LAN there.
when i try to update my Trend Micro(my anti virus) it says it can’t connect to the internet.
or when i try to update my adobe it says the same thing.
Even internet explorer cant work.
Maplestory too!(it’s an online game)
However it works fine with Firefox and the rest?
Why is this???
NOTE: MY FIREWALL IS TURNED OFF. DONT TELL ME THAT.
I’VE RESTARTED MY COMP 5 TIMES DONT TELL ME THAT EITHER

In IE try going to Tools/Internet Options, Click the Connections tab, click the LAN settings tab. Un-check everything with the exception of Automatically Detect Settings. Click OK. If you’re directly connected to the internet, you may also want to verify that the ‘Never Dial a Connection’ radio button is selected. If none of this works, reset IE settings to default by going to Tools/Internet Options, Advanced Tab, then Reset Advanced Settings.
If this works, then your Trend Micro will likely start working again, as it uses the settings set up by your Internet Options to connect to the internet.
