Does the quality (health) of my pc affect the online quality of my PS3 gaming?
My mates PS3 online gaming has become very laggy for some reason, it just came from nowhere. It was fine for ages, then one day it started to lag and now is barley playable due to so much lag. His pc is slow too, so i thought it might be something to do with that, like maybe a virus. But i was wondering if that would actually affect the gaming quality on the PS3 console or is it the ISP that is to blame for this. Any help would be great as this has been going on for too long Grrr.
Well its likely the ISP. Is it always laggy or just when the computer is on? If its only laggy when the computer is on your friend has spy ware or phishing ware or any other number of ad wares and you could be getting slowed down by the amount of data transfer from these items across your Internet connection. Also PSN has a very bad reputation of not having the greatest service and they may be doing upgrades.
