Has anyone ever run a game with two GM’s?
A friend of mine and I are running a somewhat unusual game with our (online) gaming group: it’s a Star Trek game with two GM’s (her and I). I’ve never played or ran a two-GM campaign before, and I don’t think anyone else in our group has, but we’re kind of set on the idea.
So does anyone have any advice, warnings, stories, or general comments?
PS: The game system is homebrewed, and we’re personally adapting it to Trek, if that’s relevant.
What you are describing is possible, especially since Star Trek covers an entire universe and one person shouldn’t be expected to cover everything. My one suggestion is have your friend brain storm your game system looking for weaknesses. Some players will try and take advantage of there being two GM’s. You don’t want them to say the other GM does this.
