Faster internet if use ethernet cable from router to PC?
i have a wireless router and two PCs “connected” to it through usb adapters. i do a lot of online gaming, and when someone surfs the web on the other PC my ping shoots up. if i were to connect my PC directly to an ethernet port on the back of the router, would that resove this issue, make it better, or no difference at all?
No difference at all unless there are 10 busy PCs sharing the Wifi network.
Your Internet access speed is limited by your Internet connection, the thinnest bottle neck in your pipeline.
