I need a good pc game that you can play single player, but it is also capable of playing on online too. I am specifally looking for a racing game.

hmm you wont be able to find a lot of games that will run good on your computer. I think you might be able to run trackmania as it has very low system requirements. Download trackmania nations forever free here http://www.trackmania.com/tm/index.php?rub=nations or off steam. The great thing about this game is its completely free, however for more cars and enviorments i would advise to get trackmania united forever. Try nations first, if you like it get united forever
