Should you buy every FarmVille farm equipment once you can afford it?
At the early stage of your Farmville game, it is necessary for you to do everything by hand, whether you are planting, harvesting or plowing. Once your farm starts to grow and increase in level, you will be able to afford some farm equipments.
However, before you go spend all your money buying every single FarmVille farm equipment, think twice.
At first, buying all the farm equipments seem like a sensible thing to do. Ultimately, these equipments are suppose to help us do things more efficiently right?
Well, not really.
Whether you want to buy seeder, harvester or plow, I advised you to sit down and analyze what the real cost of each piece of FarmVille farm equipment is. Are they really worth the purchase price in the long run?
1) Hidden Costs of a Machine
A machine can have an initial cost of 30,000 but the real cost can be much more than that. Remember to take into account the fuel cost. Depending on how big your farm is, you may need to spend a lot of money on fuel, especially when you have more than one machine.
If your farm is so big that one tank of fuel is not enough, you might have to consider getting fuel refills. Typically, you can choose from several sizes from 1 to 50 tanks. However, you can only use Farm Cash to pay for them. Unfortunately, you probably know that accumulating Farm Cash is not easy. Therefore, those refills can really become really expensive.
Alternatively, you can choose to wait since your tank will fill up on its own. It doesn’t take that long and best of all, it is free. However, if you are tending to a large farm, you may begin to lose your patience since you always have to wait for the fuel to accumulate before you are able to use the equipment again.
2) The Initial Purchase Price
Remember this, farm machinery isn’t cheap and can cost you as much as 30,000 coins. You do not want to end up in a situation whereby you have bought a seeder but have no more money left to buy the seeds.
Think about it this way. What’s the point of having a seeder when you have no seeds to plant with it?
If we are all Farmville millionaire, we can certainly afford to buy all 3 machines without batting an eyelid. Unfortunately, we are not. This means we can only buy one equipment at a time.
Therefore, it is always a good idea to think about which machine you will be using most and get it first. A machine can be a great investment if you plan carefully.
Fret Not! There is a way around it!
You can always try planting a variety of crops that doesn’t mature at the same time. By doing so, you won’t need to plow, plant and harvest the entire farm at once.
As long as the machines have enough time to refuel naturally, you will never have to spend any money on gas. Of course, it can be quite tricky to ensure that you won’t miss out on using your machine when you like to simply because of the lack of gas.
Well, in order to prevent that from happening, you will have to plan well.
