i need some information on games console and online gaming! HELP?
i have an exam on new media technology soon and need a case study on games console.
it has to include stuff like wat the technology is, the institutions- the companies that produce the product, what the audience gain from it, the issues of the product, and wat the future has in store for the product.
i tried researching in google but havent really been having any luck!

Well, explaining everything here would be like me writing your exam for you… So, I will try to just point you in the right direction…
You need to know the makers of the products, audience gain, product issues, etc… The main 3 consoles out right now are the Xbox 360 (made by Microsoft), Playstation 3 (made by Sony) and the Wii (made by Nintendo). So, when you search google, search something like “Xbox history” or “Wii background…” I’m sure you will find all sorts of tech specs and information. You might also try, “Playstation 3 issues” or “Xbox 360 problems” to find info regarding any problems that have been discovered with the systems. Really as far as the future, this can be something of your own opinion but each company really plans to improve upon their current system – continuing to work out bugs and release fixes, etc, and roll out plans for future systems.
