Does anyone know a site that provides free and up-to-date data regarding female gamers?
I’m currently doing an article on the role of female gamers in the “male-dominated” video/online game industry. Data and stats, of course, will add flavor to the article. Maybe some of you out there know a website or two that provides the statistics I’m looking for, for free. So far, the only free source I got is Wikipedia, lol.
Well, i didnt find one source for all… but i did find these interesting:
Gender of game players:
38% female
62% male
Women age 18 or older represent a significantly greater portion of the game-playing population (31%) than boys age 17 or younger (20%). (A fact)
