AP Euro test?
Hey the A.P. test is in like 25 days or something and i was wondering some good ways to study.
We are going to have before and after school study sessions for about 2 weeks up to the test and also we are taking a practice one. What are some good ways to study.
I own the book, the princeton review guide and the clifnotes guide as well.
I just want to know some good ways to study. Please dont just say read the book but things more creative like ” play an online study game” or “make a timeline of all the important dates in history” or even “try to make your own glossary of all the important dates in time from reinassance to presesnt”

Hmm. Let’s see… sometimes it’s really good to have a study session with friends. Technically, if you can teach someone else the material, you know it pretty well yourself, and sometimes with things we don’t know, it’s easier to ask another person, or look it up in the book together than looking it up on your own. Furthermore, if you make flash-cards, or games, etc, it’s better with more people. You can order pizza. I don’t know of any online study games for the AP Euro exam. To tell you the truth, sometimes the best way really is to just read the book by the princeton review. I know it doesn’t seem original, but it is the best way. And, look through your notes from the school year.
Hmm. I like the timeline idea, but you know something? Instead of simply writing everything, draw a picture. If you have friends with you, you can each get a section of the timeline and then write a caption, that way each of you learns a particular section and can teach it to the group.
The human brain also learns by connections so instead of simply reading and hoping you’ll memorize everything, make a story, create ways to make yourself remember, grab a tune you like from a song and make it work for the material by inserting dates, etc… You’ll remember things better. A little thing I learned in psychology class.
I got a 5 on the AP Euro test, and, really, I just looked over the book as a small review the day before the day before the test day… But I had an incredibly teacher, and I did try to review with friends during afterschool review sessions.
