Can an online gaming site in the collection of gambling debts?
If you use bodog.com and electronic check deposit, and then check bounces for insufficient funds in your bank account, you can Bodog anything. They claim to report to a third party collection agency and report to Experian, etc. However, is online gambling illegal in the U.S.? What the collection agency have the right to collect a debt illegal? Not to mention that they never ask for your Social Security Number. If the bank knew that the checks were illegal wouldnt go to a gambling site anyway to cancel the check?
I do not know if online gambling is illegal, but must be ready and no evidence of fraud. Nobody wants to do business with people like you and you must be a man and pay their obligations.
