Are There Any Strong Stocks for This Weak Economy?
In school we are doing an online market simulation game. Real stock quotes, only a 20 minute delay, all is real, but only fake money. I want to kick butt in my business class and need help.
The competition isn’t fierce, people in class buy like 15/20/maybe 100 shares of like 30 different companies. Not very smart in my opinion.

For CEG, Warren Buffett wants the company. Consider this, when you divide the 5 billion in equity by the 178 million shares you will see the equity per share (book value) is higher than the stock price. The company has 9 billion in cash and a 1.91 earnings per share. Sounds like value to me.
Similarly for BMO, 19.3 billion in equity, divided by 503 million shares, and it made some 427 billion profit in the last quarter, but only sells for about 27 a share? Sounds like worth looking into.
