Sony Act could force Microsoft to pay more money for the use of Blu-Ray and other businesses?
I know that Sony is probably salivating at the opportunity to take revenge for the beating of Microsoft, Sony gave the game console wars. Blu-Ray to become the de facto standard for the perfect opportunity to do so. Since Blu-Ray is Sony's patented technology, which may force Microsoft to pay more to use it? The reason I'm asking is that this new change in what was the war formats, everything changes. Reduce the Xbox 360 to $ 300 for a toy that happens to offer some of the online features and play regularly in the DVD's box. PS3 Entertainment is now the "super toy" that damn near everything. I think Microsoft is finally trying to produce Blu-Ray to go with the Xbox 360 to stay competitive. If not that, I think inevitably be the next Microsoft console. Xbox 1080, anyone?
I had no note saying that Microsoft beat Sony in the wars console. As for the PS2 vs Xbox, PS2 won hands down. Xbox 360 vs PS3, while the 360 might be ahead now, its advantage is the fact that the 360 was long. It is too early to say, even if the PS3 is updated for reasons lost fairly quickly. Also I doubt that Sony tries to charge more microsoft. At the end of the day all these companies work together and are usually above the petty revenge tactics. For example, Toshiba has helped develop the Cell processor the PS3, though he tried pushing HDDVD and PS3 would have been competition.
