My computer has been acting a bit slow lately, and it’s been fine until I tried downloading this game…?
I tried download this game called Rohan. It’s a free, online mmorpg. I have Kaspersky as an anti-virus program, and when I went to install the game, it said it contained a virus. So I let it pass anyway, and then uninstalled it because it was complete crap. Then today my computer started acting abnormally slow. I restarted it, but it still acted the same way. I’m wondering if I should do some kind of restore to fix the problem. First Mozilla was freezing up, then Windows itself, and then just the entire system.
Also, I have Vista
Wow, some people are just completely stupid. I let one little program through and suddenly I’m a fool for wanting to play a silly little game. If you can’t put up helpful answers, don’t answer at all, please, and don’t criticize me.
I had the same type of problem after downloading a few games from HP and SweetIM. Sometimes when you do that it pops up saying it contains a virus when their really isn’t one. But I suppose you can never be too careful.
I did a system restore and that corrected the problem. It might be worth mentioning that if you have Norton, you have to turn it off to do a restore or it won’t work.
